This study investigates the properties of 18 embedded clusters (ECs) to enhance understanding of the Milky Way's spiral structure by using cluster distances to trace the arms of the galaxy. The findings support a four-armed spiral pattern primarily identifying the Sagittarius-Carina, Perseus, and outer arms, with most ECs located in the Perseus arm. The research highlights ECs' significance in delineating galactic features and emphasizes the potential for new searches to deepen insights into the structure of our galaxy.
