🇨🇳🤝🇦🇺 We were delighted to welcome a Australia-China Youth Association (ACYA) delegation to WeRide! Early-career leaders from both countries visited our #Guangzhou office to experience #Robobus and #Robotaxi in action, noting the smooth ride and smart safety features that powers our AV fleet. Since 2010, the Australia-China Youth Dialogue (#ACYD) has been a key platform for interdisciplinary youth dialogue, rotating between major cities in China and Australia to strengthen bilateral ties. As part of the visit, delegates joined a panel discussion – "From policy to progress - the road ahead for smart mobility and emerging energy systems" – featuring Professor Jiang Kejun from the The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and Maeve Zhang, Head of Global Marketing and PR at WeRide. Maeve shared about WeRide's rich global experience on both regulatory collaborations and commercial operations of AVs. WeRide is honoured to be part of such initiatives, fostering cross-border collaboration and inspiring young leaders to shape the future of the AV industry. 🚘🌏 #WeRide #AutonomousMobility #AutonomousVehicles #SmartMobility #Robotaxi #Robobus #Innovation #SmartCities #FutureOfTransport

🚨 WeRide and Uber have just launched the Middle East’s first fully driverless #Robotaxi commercial operations in #AbuDhabi! This historic milestone also marks the first city outside the U.S. to host fully driverless operations on the Uber platform, made possible by the world’s first city-level fully driverless Robotaxi permit outside the U.S. Public commercial operations kicked off today on Yas Island without a safety driver on board. Passengers can now be matched with a WeRide Robotaxi through Uber Comfort or UberX, and can also book a WeRide Robotaxi through the new “Autonomous” category. 🇦🇪🚖 This launch follows the federal permit secured last month for fully driverless Robotaxi commercial operations, and the first operational license granted by Abu Dhabi Mobility (ITC) for a fully driverless commercial Robotaxi service in Abu Dhabi. The initial phase is jointly operated by WeRide, Uber and Tawasul | تواصل. With the fully driverless passenger launch and ongoing improvements in vehicle utilization, we're proud that our Abu Dhabi Robotaxi services are on track for unit economic breakeven. Achieving true commercialization of Level 4 autonomy requires regulatory trust and strong collaboration – a milestone WeRide has reached in Abu Dhabi and will continue to build on. Looking ahead, WeRide and Uber plan to expand our Middle East fleet to thousands of Robotaxis over the coming years. We’re just getting started. 🌍 #WeRide #Uber #IntegratedTransportCentre #ITC #AutonomousMobility #AutonomousVehicles #SmartMobility #GXR #Robobus #Innovation #SmartCities #FutureOfTransport

🎥🚗 WeRide's vehicles were featured on BFMTV, one of #France's leading news channels, offering viewers a glimpse of the future of mobility. The BFMTV team visited Guangzhou to experience our #Robotaxi #GXR and #Robobus. During the visit, they spoke with Maeve Zhang, WeRide's Head of PR and Marketing, who shared how our Robotaxi GXR handles highly complex traffic scenarios with many pedestrians and e-bikes. She noted that the vehicle will drive cautiously in such environments and only accelerates when the road ahead is clear, adding that it "does not get angry, tired, or make careless mistakes”. BFMTV also interviewed passengers riding the Robobus, who described the experience as novel and safe, without a driver on board. 🇫🇷 In France, our Robobus has been operating in Valence, Drôme, and has transported spectators for two consecutive years at the Roland Garros tournament in Paris. We’re proud to bring leading autonomous driving technology across borders and transform the way people move. #WeRide #AutonomousMobility #AutonomousVehicles #SmartMobility #Innovation #SmartCities #FutureOfTransport

🇨🇭🚖 We're proud to announce that WeRide has been granted a driverless permit in #Switzerland from Federal Roads Office FEDRO – allowing our #Robotaxi to operate fully autonomously on public roads in #Furttal, Zurich! This is the first driverless Robotaxi permit (for passengers) issued in Switzerland.🎉🎉 With this milestone, we become the only technology company in the world with vehicles holding autonomous driving permits in eight countries – Switzerland, #China, the #UAE, #SaudiArabia, #Singapore, #France, #Belgium, and the #US. 🌍 Under this permit, WeRide Robotaxis may conduct fully driverless commercial operations under the “iamo” (Intelligent Automated Mobility) pilot once testing is complete. The vehicles are authorized to serve a 110km operating area with around 460 stops at speeds of up to 80 km/h. Led by the Swiss Transit Lab in collaboration with SBB CFF FFS, Kanton Zürich and Kanton Aargau, "iamo" aims to AVs into Switzerland’s public transport network, enhancing last-mile connectivity and improving local mobility across the Furttal region. 🛠️ Timeline: Now: AV testing with an on-board safety driver After testing is completed: Fully driverless testing with vehicles remotely monitored by Eurobus AG Early 2026: Fully driverless public passenger service Fleet expansion to include Robobuses – establishing Switzerland's first mixed AV fleet of Robotaxis and Robobuses 🚌 This achievement builds on our growing presence in Switzerland. Since June 2025, our Robobus shuttle service at Zurich Airport Ltd has been transporting staff between the airport head (Gate 101) and maintenance yard (Gate 103). In October 2025, we began training for both rear-seat and remote Robobus cockpit operations, ensuring our technology and the people in charge are ready as we prepare for fully driverless operations in the near future. We’re proud to be working with leading Swiss partners to advance safe, intelligent, and sustainable urban mobility across Europe. #WeRide #AutonomousMobility #AutonomousVehicle #AV #SmartMobility #Robotaxi #Innovation #SmartCities #FutureOfTransport

WeRide has received a permit from the #UAE government for fully driverless #Robotaxi commercial operations! 🎉🎉 This is the world's first L4 commercial city-level permit ever issued outside the #US, showcasing our global leadership in autonomous driving. 🇦🇪🚕 Granted on October 31, 2025, the permit allows our Robotaxis to operate commercially without an on-board safety driver. Commercial operations will start on the Uber and TXAI platforms in #AbuDhabi very soon. In July 2023, WeRide was granted the UAE's first national license for all types of self-driving vehicles, enabling autonomous testing and operation on public roads across the country, subject to emirate-level approvals. As of October 2025, our Robotaxis have accumulated close to one million kilometers in Abu Dhabi. The latest permit removes the requirement for an in-vehicle safety officer, enabling WeRide Robotaxi services in Abu Dhabi to achieve financial breakeven on unit economics. Since 2021, WeRide has been operating Robotaxis in Abu Dhabi with TXAI. In December 2024, we partnered with Uber to launch the largest commercial Robotaxi service outside the US and #China, in Abu Dhabi. By July 2025, the service expanded to cover half of Abu Dhabi’s core areas, including Al Reem and Al Maryah. Looking ahead, WeRide plans to operate up to 1,000 Robotaxis in the Middle East by 2026, with tens of thousands by 2030, bringing us closer to truly accessible autonomous mobility in the region. 🚀 #WeRide #AutonomousMobility #UnitedArabEmirates #MiddleEast #AutonomousVehicles #AV #SmartMobility #Innovation #SmartCities #FutureOfTransport #RobotaxiGXR

🇯🇵🤝🇸🇬 We were pleased to host a delegation from The University of Tokyo for an experiential ride on WeRide's #Robobus in #Singapore. The professors, researchers, and advisors – who serve in advisory roles with Japan’s regulator Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism – were impressed by the vehicle’s smooth performance and its ability to handle complex scenarios autonomously. This exchange bridges two of our key markets, Singapore and #Japan. The Robobus the delegation experienced is part of our Ai.R (Autonomously Intelligent Ride) deployment in partnership with Grab, currently plying public roads in Punggol, Singapore as part of autonomous testing ahead of passenger service in early 2026. Dialogues like this are essential to help advance cross-regional collaboration and drive the global adoption of safe, autonomous mobility. 🚘 #WeRide #AutonomousMobility #AutonomousVehicles #SmartMobility #Robotaxi #Robobus #Innovation #SmartCities #FutureOfTransport

🇸🇬 WeRide and Grab have received approval from the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore to conduct AV testing with the entire Ai.R fleet in the #Punggol district! We commenced Punggol's first AV testing in mid-October 2025. With this latest approval, we'll be stepping up our AV testing programme further. The total number of AV test runs in Punggol is expected to increase by up to four times by end-2025, as we prepare for Ai.R's first passenger rides by early 2026. 🛣️ Currently, our AVs are conducting test runs along two shuttle routes ahead of the upcoming Ai.R shuttle service, which will connect residents to MRT stations, bus interchanges, malls, and clinics. The Ai.R fleet includes 10 #GXRs and one #Robobus, all powered by WeRide’s proven autonomous driving technology. Equipped with LiDARs and cameras providing 360° vision up to 200 metres, the vehicles get smarter and safer with every test – perfecting turns, smooth acceleration and braking, navigating tight roads and carparks, and refining pick-ups and drop-offs. With rigorous testing and continuous learning, we’re leading the way together with Grab in making AVs a safe and reliable part of everyday life in #Singapore. #WeRide #AutonomousMobility #AutonomousVehicle #AV #SmartMobility #Innovation #SmartCities #FutureOfTransport
