🇨🇳🤝🇦🇺 We were delighted to welcome a Australia-China Youth Association (ACYA) delegation to WeRide! Early-career leaders from both countries visited our #Guangzhou office to experience #Robobus and #Robotaxi in action, noting the smooth ride and smart safety features that powers our AV fleet. Since 2010, the Australia-China Youth Dialogue (#ACYD) has been a key platform for interdisciplinary youth dialogue, rotating between major cities in China and Australia to strengthen bilateral ties. As part of the visit, delegates joined a panel discussion – "From policy to progress - the road ahead for smart mobility and emerging energy systems" – featuring Professor Jiang Kejun from the The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and Maeve Zhang, Head of Global Marketing and PR at WeRide. Maeve shared about WeRide's rich global experience on both regulatory collaborations and commercial operations of AVs. WeRide is honoured to be part of such initiatives, fostering cross-border collaboration and inspiring young leaders to shape the future of the AV industry. 🚘🌏 #WeRide #AutonomousMobility #AutonomousVehicles #SmartMobility #Robotaxi #Robobus #Innovation #SmartCities #FutureOfTransport

A huge thanks to WeRide for hosting the 15th Australia-China Youth Dialogue! Experiencing your #Robotaxi and #Robobus in action was a first for many of the delegates and a highlight of the four-day Dialogue. Hearing from Maeve Zhang, Professor Jiang Kejun and PhD student Fayi Chen on the future of #SmartMobility and #EmergingEnergySystems was truly fascinating. Thank you again for playing such an important role in making this year’s ACYD a success. We look forward to collaborating in future Dialogues!
