Objectives:
To achieve best results among all the institutes and produce university
toppers.
To be known as research institute rather than only academic institute.
Create bridges between industrial and in house products.
To meet the huge requirement of local, national and international
engineering industry.
To be accredited by NBA and other educational association.
To be a Deemed University.

Previous Session Achievements:
100% result in 8th semester with highest SGPA of 9.25.
Abhijeet Singh, [ECE 2012-16 batch] got selected as captain in Indian
Airforce.
Sunil Jhangeela [ECE 2012-2016 batch] got selected as Sub Inspector.
STEP program was conducted successfully.

Action Plan:
(a)Syllabus completion
 Syllabus progress report to be submitted to the HOD after every 15
days .
Student feedback on the quality of teaching learning to be monitored on
07/09/16, 30/09/16, 11/11/16 by the HOD.

(b) Results Improvement
 Orientation program [28th July-29th July, 2016]
 Bridge courses for higher semester[1st Aug-10th Aug, 2016]
Preparation of notes/course material from multiple references. [On or
before 30th July, 2016.]
Introducing “Open Source Exam” and “Surprise Test” [During last
fortnight of September.]
Fruitful use of digital library viz. NPTEL, Stanford Lectures, MIT
open course etc. [Video lecture downloading completed for few
subjects. Materials will be supplied to students on or before 31st
Aug, 2016. Class teacher will monitor this.]
Introducing multiple Q&A during every planed session.
Prepare model answer sheet for previous year paper/assignment/mock
tests, after completion of every unit.
Planed schedule for MST 1(19/09/16-21/09/16), MST 2 (13/10/16-
15/10/16), PUT (07/11/16-11/11/16)
 Display of Model answer sheet(PUT) 15/11/16.

(c)Skills Development
Breadboard designing study [20/08/16]
GD/ PI Session [27/08/16]
Introduction to Microcontroller and microprocessor. [17/09/16]
Technical interview session [24/09/16]
Expert lecture on 26/9/16 by Mr. Raja Namdeo on Advance Comm.
Expert lecture on 21/11/16 by Mr. Utsav Malviya on Projects & Industrial
relevance.

Action Plan:
(d) STEP
6 hours per week. [Incorporated already].
Preparation of daily lesson plan and material . [on or before 30th of
July, 2016]
3rd Sem – Introduction to MATLAB (16/08/16 onwards) by Mr. Salil
Jain
 5th Sem – Advanced MATLAB (02/08/16 onwards) by Mr.
Suryabhan Singh
7th Sem – Arduino (02/08/16 onwards) by Mr. U.N Bera.
Checking the availability of the software in the CP Lab and update the
license in each computer. [before 25th July, 2016]
Strictly monitor the attendance. [Once in a fortnight]
Course material should be focused on recent trends and emerging
technology. [Monitored by HOD. [Once in a fortnight]

Action Plan:
(e)Research and Publication
Taking membership of professional society like IET, IEEE, ASME etc.
[Application- 15th Sept, 2016]
Progress seminar once in a month about recent development.
Selecting one or two major fields per faculty. [On or before 15th of
August.]
Minimum 1 publication in three month. [Major review should be
answered and revised at lest. [On or before 15th Oct, 2016]
Fruitful use of library journal subscriptions. [Every fortnight reporting.]

(f) Industrial Visit
Optical fiber lab, GSM , 3G, 4G lab (BSNL-TTC, Jabalpur)

(g) Tech- Fest Project
Every faculty has to undertake at least 1 SIE(Social innovation and
Entrepreneurship).
Event(Tech- fest) is scheduled for March – April 2017 .
Need to propose the project details on or before 26/10/16
Active participation on various others events of tech- fest.

(h) Training & Placement
Individual placement coordinator for dept. [formation of cell by 20th
August, 2016]
Conduct mock interview.[Every Monday and Tuesday by TPO
2016]
Conduct mock GD and Aptitude class. [Every Monday and Tuesday
by TPO 2016]
1 hour course on attractive Resume making. [27th August, 2016]
Provide various resource like freashersword.com, naukri.com for
previous year sample placement paper. [Material Ready]

Action Plan:
(i) Projects
Introducing “Course Projects”. [List of activity is mentioned on
Course files. (On or before 15th August. 2016)]
Preparation of project reference copy and synopsis for every
faculty per project group.[On or before 24th July, 2016]
Establish the culture of “Progress Seminar” at least once in a
month. [Valid for final year students. Guide will monitor the action.
HOD look after all the activity.] [Review dates 14th sep and
25th oct, 2016].
Fruitful use YouTube Channel and other internet sources but in the
same time keep the copyright matter under strict supervision [Before
submission of the printed project report. [Nov 1st week]].
Internal assessment of the projects. Create a panel of faculty with
same field interest. Rigorous comments and criticism. [ 10th Sept,
20th Oct]
Standardize thesis format. [Done]

Action Plan:
(j) LAB Readiness
Strictly monitor by class teacher/course teacher along with TA.
[[Everyday]]
Conduct Lab Viva, journal checking on daily basis. [checked by
HOD]
Lab can be useful for whole day and it will provide maximum
support to the students to complete their course projects/minor
projects/major projects. [Everyday]
After demonstration of TA/Faculty, students will have to perform
the experiment individually and TA should monitor the safety
measure. [[Everyday]]

(k) Short Term Course
Once in a month.
Lesson plan properly made and course contents will be circulated.

Society and clubs formation.
 Robotics Society [Done]
Tech-fest participation at various IITs, IIITs and NITs. [U N Bera]
Re-establishment of CARE [Control, Automation, Robotics
Engineering] Club. [Done]
Society/club having own information uploaded in the website
along with its activities. All the activities will be reported to The
PRINCIPAL. [30th August, 2016]

Successfully completion of academic calendar targets. [Nov 2016]
