- 1. Photograph Challenge taskWhat is unique about Manchester? Use a digital camera to take images that show this uniqueness. You cannot take pictures of people, buildings or vehicles! Think carefully about what is unique about Manchester

What does this tell you about this environment? You could record the noises on your mobile phone. Try to create a sound map – start from a central point on your page and draw a line in the direction of each sound, thicker for louder sounds. Add a key to differentiate between sounds.

Use a piece of paper and add words that describe this place – think carefully about where you place the words, how you write them, the colours you use, their size etc. Your page must contain only words but must look like the place around you.
