Flexible ads creation is available with Classic ad sets and the brand awareness, website visits, website conversions, video views or engagement objectives.

Consider the following requirements when trying to use Flexible Ads Creation.

| Campaign | You must create a new campaign to use flexible ads. You can’t use an existing campaign or combine flexible ads with regular ads in the same group. | |
| Ad set type | Available for Classic ad sets only. | |
| Objectives | Available with brand awareness, website visits, website conversions, video views or engagement objectives. | |
| Ad formats | Only single image and video ad formats are supported. | |
| Budget | Only available with Dynamic Group Budget. | |
| Language | Only available in English. | |
| AI-generated media | AI-generated media isn’t supported. | |
| Edit or pause ads | Individual ad variations can’t be edited or paused. You can either remove the media in the ad or pause the entire ad set. | |
| Preview ads | Only up to five sample ad variants will be shown before you launch the ad set. The full number of ads generated will be visible after you launch the ad set. | |
| Ad rotations | Ads must be optimized for performance; rotating ads evenly isn’t available for flexible ads. | |
| API and bulk support | Not available in API or bulk tools. |
