Earlier this week, we teamed up with Jacksonville Jaguars Defensive End, 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, and Fanatics x Boardroom Athlete Immersion Program participant Arik Armstead to host members of the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Florida at our Jacksonville, FL office for the Armstead Academic Project’s STAY HUNGRY Career Camp. We connected with Arik last summer during the inaugural Fanatics x Boardroom Athlete Immersion Program. When we learned that the Armstead Academic Project, founded by Arik and his wife, Dr. Melinda Armstead, was planning a Career Camp in Jacksonville, we saw a meaningful opportunity to extend our partnership beyond the program and support their mission firsthand. The Armstead Academic Project is a career exploration initiative designed to equip teens ages 16–20 with essential professional development skills. During the event, participants gained an inside look at career opportunities at Fanatics and engaged with our team through immersive experiences. A huge thank you to Arik and Melinda, the Armstead Academic Project, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and all the Fanatics employees who took time out of their busy schedules to help create an engaging and educational experience for these future leaders. #onefanatics #jacksonvillejaguars #armsteadacademicproject
