Our Amsterdam team recently launched a new clothing recycling initiative, giving more than 1,250 used ground handling and cargo uniforms a second life. 👕 ♻️ Working closely with Veltuff, the uniforms were collected and sorted, then sent to a specialist recycler to be transformed into new, sustainable products. Even the used boxes will be reused by a local foundation to create playground materials, ensuring nothing goes to waste. The team say the response in Amsterdam has been overwhelmingly positive. As our Senior Employee Workwear & Facility Isabelle van den Burg shared, “It feels rewarding to know these uniforms will be reused rather than thrown away, and it’s great to see a local idea grow into something with long-term potential.” This collection will now take place twice a year as part of our regular recycling process, ensuring old uniforms are recycled responsibly. 📣 Exciting news from Belgium! We’re expanding our European e-commerce network with a new 5,500 m² import hub at Liege Airport, one of Europe’s fastest-growing cargo hubs. Our new second-line warehouse is purpose-built for fast-turnaround parcel handling, capable of processing up to 300 tons per day. With this addition, our total e-commerce footprint in Liège grows to 9,000 m², delivering even greater efficiency, reliability, and sustainability for our airline and integrator partners.
