There is an option to add a Play / Pause button to your MetaSlider slideshows. You can see an example of this button in the screenshot below. The Play / Pause button in the bottom-left corner of the slideshow.
In general, we recommend being careful with enabling Auto Play for your slideshows as it may annoy or confuse some users. If you do want slides to move automatically, it’s a good idea to provide people with a Play / Pause button so they can stop them using this feature. Enabling this also helps you to create accessible slideshows.
You’ll find this feature in the “Advanced Options” area when you’re editing a slideshow. This feature is available to all MetaSlider themes.
You can add extra text to theses buttons. In the screenshot below, you can see extra text added to the “Play Text and “Pause Text” areas.
That extra text will appear on the front of the site. In the screenshot below, you can see the “Play video” button with that text.
This feature requires the MetaSlider Pro plugin.
It is possible to customize the appearance of the Play / Pause button. In MetaSlider Pro, use the Theme Editor feature. Go to the “Play / Pause Button” tab and you can customize the design and position of this button.
