    Tech trends we've observed in recent years: 1. Web3: Decentralisation Dream Web3 promised a decentralised internet, allowing users to control their data and digital assets. While many Web3 startups raised billions, scalability issues and regulatory uncertainty dampened the excitement. The Luna crash and the FTX scandal further affected this space. Nonetheless, blockchain continues to find niche applications in finance and asset tokenisation. 2. EdTech: From Boom to Slowdown The pandemic catalysed significant EdTech growth, but as normalcy returned, engagement declined. Many edtech startups failed to justify their inflated valuations, thus shutting down or slowing down. While digital learning remains important, startups now emphasize profitability over hypergrowth. 3. NFT (Non-Fungible Token): Digital Gold Rush NFTs exploded as digital ownership took center stage, resulting in million-dollar sales in art and gaming. Platforms like Axie Infinity gained popularity, leading many to assume it would be the next big thing. NFTs became ubiquitous, featuring Celebrity NFTs, Cricket NFTs, Gold NFTs, and Metaverse. Some friends even reached out to me for a share in these tokens for their potential appreciation. 4. AI (Artificial Intelligence): The Reigning Champion Generative AI is the hottest trend today, transforming industries with tools like ChatGPT and Gemini. While its impact is undeniable, challenges such as ethics and regulation loom. There's a competitive race in LLMs, AI Agents, Automation, and Edge computing. What’s Next?
