𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄. In my early 30s, I thought I had already chosen my path. I had built experience in one industry, had a steady paycheck—but I wasn’t fulfilled. Still, the thought of starting over was terrifying. What if I failed? What would people think? But one day, I asked myself: What if I succeed? I gave myself permission to start again. To try something new. To become a beginner with a beginner’s mind. And everything changed. You are not too old. You are not too late. Here are six steps I recommend for reinventing yourself at any stage of life: ☝🏼 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 1: 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗼 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 → Just because you’ve been something doesn’t mean you have to stay that way. → Give yourself permission to change. ✌🏼 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 2: 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 “𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲” 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 → Starting over may feel clumsy at first. That’s normal. → Every stumble is data that guides your growth. 🤟🏼 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 3: 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 → Look for people who’ve done it before you. → Let their stories light the way—not intimidate you. 🖖🏼 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 4: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 → Read the books, take the courses, and find mentors. → New skills can be built at any age, with intention. 🖐🏼 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 5: 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 → Momentum builds confidence, not the other way around. → Action leads to clarity. 🖐🏼☝🏼 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 6: 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 → Find people who cheer for your growth. → The right community will remind you of who you’re becoming. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲. 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻. Have you ever reinvented yourself—or thought about it?

Early in my career, I faced a moment many of us dread: A sudden, unexpected company reorganization. It seemed like overnight ➟ my role ➟ my team ➟ my daily tasks were all up in the air. I remember the anxiety. The flurry of rumors. The uncertainty. They clouded my thoughts about the future. But it was in this chaos that I found clarity. I realized that change, though daunting, also brings opportunities for growth. I wrote an article on this for Harvard Business Review. Here are 5 actions you can take when your professional life is unpredictable: 1. Embrace the Uncertainty Use periods of change as a catalyst for introspection. Reflect on what truly matters to you and your future. 2. Define Your Identity Think about who you need to be... Not just what you need to do. 3. Focus on the Process Establish and commit to positive career behaviors. It gives you a sense of control and leads to results. Examples: • Contribute in each team meeting • Expand your network every week • Offer a strategic idea to leadership monthly • Take on a stretch opportunity once a quarter • Thank a coworker for something helpful every day 4. Cultivate Learning Agility Be ready to adapt. Stay curious. Embrace new ideas. This mindset isn't just to survive; it helps you thrive. 5. Ask for and Act on Feedback Regularly seek feedback. Take time to reflect on it. It's crucial to know where you're growing. And where you need to improve. Change can be scary. But it's also a chance to reset. To pivot. You may discover new paths you hadn't noticed before. Remember... It's not the strongest or most intelligent who survive. It's those who can best manage change. Lean into the uncertainty. Use it as a stepping stone. Build a career that's not just successful, but also aligned with who you truly are. Find this valuable? Repost ♻️ to share with others. Thank you! P.S. What keeps you going when things get uncertain?

240,423 followersCareer transitions aren't about finding a new train track to ride to career advancement—they're about mastering the rock climb. Here's the framework I use with clients to help them pivot successfully: Step 1: Identify Your True Pain Point Before making any move, ask yourself: Is it your boss you dislike or the actual work? Is it the industry or just your company culture? One client was ready to leave her entire field until we discovered she only needed an internal transfer away from a toxic boss—saving months of job searching while keeping her seniority. Step 2: Apply the W.I.S.E. Framework Don't jump straight to job applications. First, analyze: Workplace needs: What motivates you at work? Industries: Which sectors will you thrive in? Skills/Roles: What work uses your skills/strengths? Experience: What experience can you leverage in your transition? Step 3: Become the Entrepreneur of Your Career The ultimate goal? Complete ownership of your professional destiny. This mindset shift is everything. Your experience is your product, and you must position it differently for different opportunities. Feeling stuck? Successful job seekers prioritize and compromise. Use “forced choice” to help you prioritize what’s most important to you and narrow down your options. Here's a question for deeper reflection... How does your past experience prepare you for the roles you're targeting now? #Careers #JobSearch #LinkedInTopVoices

Growth means outgrowing what once fit! 🌳 We all reach a point in our careers where the work that once sparked excitement and filled us with purpose no longer resonates in the same way. It’s an unsettling realization, especially when we’ve invested so much into a job, a role, or a project that once felt like the perfect fit. 🤦♀️ For a long time, I wrestled with this change. It was tough to accept that the job I once felt so connected to no longer ignited the same passion. But here’s the truth: it wasn’t just the job that had shifted—it was me. I had grown, evolved, and expanded in ways that my old role couldn’t match anymore. And you know what? That is perfectly fine. 💃 We often tie our identity to the work we do, especially when it’s something we’re passionate about. But when we start to feel drained instead of inspired, we question everything: “Did I make a mistake? Is this the wrong path?” And in these moments, it's easy to feel guilty or like we’re failing. But the reality is that we’re growing: 🍁Just because a role no longer serves me today doesn’t mean it didn’t once fit perfectly. I’ve learned, contributed, and grown through that experience. 🍁Our purpose will evolve as we evolve. The things that once motivated and excited us may not hold the same value today, and that’s not only okay—it’s a natural part of our journey. Recognize that growth is often uncomfortable, but it’s also necessary for progression. 🍁If someone is feeling restless, bored, or even drained, it’s a sign that they’re ready for something new. It’s a signal that they’re no longer aligned with where they once were, and their next chapter is waiting. Don’t ignore these feelings—lean into them. 🍁So often, we think of our careers as linear, as a path that we must stay on no matter what. But our career is a journey, not a destination. It’s meant to change, to adapt, and to grow with us. We don’t have to stay stuck just because it once fit perfectly. 🍁The key to long-term fulfilment is alignment. Our career, our job, and our purpose need to reflect who we are now—not who you were. If we’re no longer aligned with our current role, it’s a sign that it’s time to reassess, realign, and find something that sparks that same passion once again. In short, it’s easy to get caught up in the idea that if we outgrow something, it means we’ve failed in some way. But outgrowing a role is a sign that we’re evolving. ✅ We’ve become more ✅ We’ve learned more, and now ✅ It’s time for a new chapter that reflects our growth. If you’re at a point where something no longer sparks joy, excitement, or purpose—acknowledge it. Take a moment to reflect and embrace it. Your journey isn’t over—it’s evolving. And the best part? The next chapter could be the most exciting one yet. 🤗 #growthmindset #personaldevelopment #careerjourney #linkedin #linkedincreator

Climate Adaptation Roadmap 🌎 Climate risks are growing exponentially and adaptation has become essential for resilience. Organizations need to ensure continuity of operations and competitiveness as physical risks increase across regions. Adaptation also delivers broader benefits. Beyond risk reduction, it supports ecosystems, enhances supply chain stability, and contributes to community wellbeing. Disclosure frameworks such as IFRS S2, CSRD and TPT now require information on adaptation. Investors and stakeholders increasingly evaluate companies on their ability to plan and implement climate resilience strategies. This roadmap developed by EcoAct is a great tool to guide the adaptation journey in a structured way. It translates the complexity of climate risks into clear phases that organizations can follow. The first phase is risk assessment. Companies must review vulnerabilities, prioritize risks, and confirm the drivers that could affect assets, operations, and value chains. The second phase is defining adaptation ambition. Senior leaders and stakeholders align on objectives, co-benefits, and an overarching adaptation goal supported by governance. The third phase is identifying relevant adaptation options. These range from physical measures to operational and strategic approaches, selected according to context and resilience potential. The fourth phase is assessment and planning. Options are analyzed in terms of cost, benefits, and feasibility. No regret measures and flexible pathways are prioritized to ensure scalability. The fifth phase is integration. Adaptation must be embedded into core business processes, financial decision-making, and supply chain management. The sixth phase is reporting. Organizations include adaptation progress in both internal and external disclosures, reinforcing transparency and alignment with regulatory expectations. The seventh phase is implementation. Measures are deployed according to defined timelines, starting with low cost actions and moving towards larger investments as needed. The final phase is monitoring. Continuous review ensures risks are reassessed, plans are updated, and adaptation strategies remain effective as climate conditions evolve. Source: EcoAct #sustainability #business #sustainable #esg

I’ve met countless professionals who stayed in roles that drained them...not because the work was fulfilling, but because leaving felt like admitting defeat. The mindset was: “If I walk away, people will think I couldn’t handle it.” So, they stayed. Even when the role was unaligned with their strengths. Even when they felt undervalued, underappreciated, and stuck. Here’s the irony: many of us end up spending enormous amounts of energy proving we can succeed in jobs we don’t even want. From a strategic standpoint, that doesn’t add up. What if, instead, that same energy went into identifying the roles that align with your values, your leadership strengths, and the impact you want to make? That shift changes everything. ➡️ You move from surviving to thriving. ➡️ You rebuild confidence in your career identity. ➡️ You create momentum toward opportunities that energize, not deplete, you. Staying in a misaligned role doesn’t prove competence. It only delays growth. Redirecting your focus toward aligned opportunities? That’s where leadership truly flourishes.

🔍 Unlocking AI's Business Potential - A Strategic Framework from The Alan Turing Institute. 🧠 🌏 Despite the growing buzz around AI, many businesses still struggle with a fundamental question:- 'How do we identify and operationalize the right AI use cases for our industry?' 📖 This document provides a structured framework to categorize AI use cases, helping organizations strategically assess where AI can drive real value. It highlights four key dimensions:- 📌 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:- 👉 Is AI being used for internal process optimization (process-centric) or embedded into products/services (product-centric)? 👉 What business function will it impact? (e.g., sales, customer service, logistics, compliance) 📌 𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺:- 👉 What capabilities does the AI system offer (e.g., prediction, optimization, automation, recommendation, content generation)? 👉 Will the AI operate in a virtual environment (e.g., chatbots) or influence the physical world (e.g., robotics, autonomous vehicles)? 👉 What is its readiness level (hypothetical, early development, proof-of-concept, or operational)? 📌 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮:- 👉 What types of input data does the AI system require (text, numerical, categorical, geospatial, audio, visual, etc.)? 👉 Does it process personal data, triggering regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, AI governance policies)? 📌 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿:- 👉 How do sector-specific challenges shape AI adoption strategies? 📚 The framework focuses on industries with high AI potential but low adoption, such as construction, agriculture, transportation, and creative industries. 🚀 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:- ✅ 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗔𝗜 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:- Assess how AI can enhance business functions and create new offerings. ✅ 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:- Consider data availability, infrastructure needs, and compliance requirements. ✅ 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆:- Align AI use cases with business objectives, sector challenges, and potential risks. ✅ 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆:- Track whether the use case is experimental, in a proof-of-concept, or ready for full-scale deployment. ✅ 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀:- Address concerns around bias, privacy, ROI uncertainty, and regulatory compliance. 💡 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 ✨ Businesses need a structured, strategic approach to AI adoption that aligns with business goals, considers sectoral nuances, and incorporates governance best practices. 🔥 What’s your organization’s approach to AI adoption? Are you using a similar framework to assess AI opportunities? The toughest part of leadership isn’t failed plans, it’s letting go of old versions of yourself. Leaders aren’t held back by imperfect strategies, but by identities they refuse to outgrow. In two decades of working with leaders, one pattern keeps resurfacing. The ones who struggle the most are not lacking skills or knowledge. They are holding on to old identities that no longer serve them. - The leader who built a career on always having the answers freezes when faced with uncertainty. - The executive who succeeded through control finds themselves unable to influence and inspire teams in a fast-changing world. -The decision-maker who thrived on speed feels paralyzed when every choice has multiple variables. I remember working with a VP who had always prided themselves on being the go-to problem solver. Every plan, every decision, was precise and under control. But when the landscape shifted, those habits stopped working. The plans failed, the team stalled, and frustration grew. That’s when the real shift happened. It wasn’t about creating a new roadmap or finding the perfect strategy. It was about helping them let go of the identity that had brought them success in the past and embrace a new way of leading, more adaptive, more authentic, more in tune with the reality of their organization. Leadership today isn’t about flawless plans. It’s about evolving into the leader your context demands. It’s about releasing outdated habits, embracing uncertainty, and building the presence to inspire trust when the outcome is unclear. Growth comes not from perfect plans but from stepping into the version of yourself that can navigate complexity, inspire others, and make decisions with confidence, even when the outcome is uncertain. Why does this matter? Because when leaders stay stuck in old identities, organizations stall. When leaders evolve, businesses unlock resilience, adaptability, and growth. If you are feeling stuck or frustrated, ask yourself this question: Am I trying to lead from who I was or from who I need to become? The answer may just define the next stage of your leadership journey. #LeadershipEvolution #AdaptiveLeadership #PersonalGrowth #LeadershipDevelopment #CoachingLeadership #LeadWithImpact #GrowthMindset #AuthenticLeadership #LettingGo #ExecutiveCoaching #LeadershipJourney #ModernLeadership #LeadershipLessons
