Queens is a visual logic game where you need to fill the grid so that there is one Queen (👑) in each row, column, and colored region with no 👑 touching another (even diagonally). New editions drop daily on LinkedIn — and you can sign up to be alerted in your notification settings.

Hey folks, welcome to today's Queens. Let's go and get started. So first thing I'm noticing when I'm looking at today's grid is these last two columns, because there's only two colors in these two columns, orange and pink, which tells me that the Queens for these columns have to be orange and pink. So anything that is orange or pink outside these two columns I know I can eliminate, which is all of these go all the way around to get all these oranges and there we go. All right, next thing that I'm noticing when I look at these two columns, there's two colors that only exist in these two columns. That's going to be red and brown. So anything that's not red or brown in these two columns that can illuminate, which is these, that's just one option left in yellow. So we'll place our first queen, knock out the rest of the columns and so on. Queen per column, the rest of the row since 1 queen per row and all surrounding cells given her 2 Queens can touch each other. All right. Looking around, the next thing that I'm noticing is that of course every available pink cells in this column, which means the queen for this column has to be pink. So anything that's pink that's not in this column I can eliminate, which is going to be all of these. All right, I'm noticing A knockout cell here where if I were to have a queen here, it's touching every available Gray cell, which would leave me that a Gray queen, which is not OK, So I'll go ahead and knock that out. Another knockout cell here where it's in the same row as this purple and touching this purple. So that would leave me that a purple queen, which is not OK, So we'll go ahead and knock that out. That means every available Gray cell is now in this row, which means the queen for this show has to be Gray. So anything that's not Gray in this row, let's eliminate, which is these. Every available green cells in this row, which means the queen for this row has to be green. So anything that is not green in this row, let's go ahead and eliminate, which is all of these. And all available red cells are in this column, which means the queen for this column has to be red. So anything that's not red in this column, let's eliminate, which is all of these. All right, now we'll continue to look around. Another knockout cell here. What's touching this purple and the same column as this purple. So that would leave me that a purple queen if I would have a queen here. So I know I can go ahead and knock that out. And I know I have a knockout cell here as well because if I were to have a queen here, it's touching both available grace, which would leave me without a Gray queen, which is not OK. So I'll go ahead and knock that out. All right, let's keep looking. Only one option left in this column actually, so double tap to place our queen. Take care of the row, column and surrounding cells. Just one option left in orange. Take care of the row, column and surrounding cells, just one left and purple. Take care of the column and the row and the surrounding cells. Just one left and Gray column row, surrounding cells, just one left in red. Take care of the row. Just one left in blue. Take care of the row, just one left and this row. Place that. Take care of the column and finally, just one left and. And that's the software. Today's Queens. Thanks for watching.
