- [Instructor] I think it's safe to say that in the past two years or so, we've all used Zoom a lot more than we probably would've ever expected to. When I recorded the first version of this course back in 2019, very few people had even heard of Zoom, but now Zoom has almost become a verb, and anyone who works in a business environment has spent plenty of time in Zoom or other digital meeting platforms. And even as many companies have started bringing their employees back into the office, there are still a lot of people who may be uncomfortable going back full-time, and who prefer to continue taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely from home or elsewhere, if their employer allows it. This has created a new kind of hybrid work environment, with some employees on site and others remote, even when they're on the same teams.
