- [Instructor] Now let's look at some of the settings regarding the Windows Firewall. So off the Start menu, I'll type in Security, and I'll go to the option for Windows Security. In the Windows Security area, I'll click on Firewall & Network Protection. And that'll take me to an interface that quickly shows that for the domain network, the firewall is on, for the private network, the firewall is on, and for the public network, the firewall is on. I have the word active next to public network because I am currently connected to a public network, or at least a network that Windows 11 thinks is public. I can click on any of these types of network and I'll have the option to turn Windows Defender Firewall off. When I do that, a user account control dialogue will pop up for me to confirm. I'll click Yes, and then almost immediately, I get a popup with a security warning saying that Windows Firewall is turned off. And…
