Remote management with PowerShell
- You can use Windows PowerShell to perform remote management and remote connection tasks using commandlets and scripts. This is often a faster way to manage computers, if you have quite a few to configure. Managing computers remotely in a PowerShell session is called windows PowerShell Remoting. This is a PowerShell window. Before you can use the remote management tools we'll talk about here. You must enable the windows remote management service. You do this by typing wimrm quickconfig and an elevated command prompt, I'll type CMD on the task bar. Right click, command prompt, and opt to run as an administrator and I'll type the command and press enter. Notice it says that we're starting the WinRM service, would I like to make the changes?
