Subnet route table association
- [Instructor] To take a look at the subnet route table association, let's look at a couple of examples. If we go down to our subnets and take a look at a public subnet, open up the subnet, take a look at the route table, and look at the route table ID, we can see that there's a route to the internet gateway. If I look at subnet associations, it will tell me the subnets that are using this route table. If I go back to a subnet that was created earlier, for example, the Isolated Dev US West subnet, let's look at this one and look at the route table and further take a look at what's happening, and we'll find out that there is a local route. That's all we've got. That's an IP version six route. If we head over to subnets and look at the other Isolated Dev US West 1B and look at that route table and look at the routes, we'll again, see local routes in place.
