That's because each program has a particular order in which it preforms operations. It's called the rendering order. By understanding the rendering order, you'll be able to achieve the look you are after more quickly and less likely to have to compromise your design. So, we'll start with this simple example of how after effects is treating effects after all it has the word effects in its name. Okay, so we have this revolving twirling background, and I'm going to select it over here and show you that to achieve that we are using few effects. Now, when it comes to after effects, it calculates the effects from start to bottom. So if I'm going to switch off the FX icon for all of them, we'll see that we are starting with bunch of circles that are not doing anything on their own.…
