- [Instructor] Creating a design system is a large part of how people think about design ops. What all goes into one? Let's take a look. Some of the parts of a design system are for the designers. And as you might notice on the right, code for the developers. We'll start with each part and who benefits from which. For me, there should always be a set of design principles. They are basically a set of considerations that form the basis of the products you are building. Who benefits? Everyone, but especially new designers. This will help guide them on how they should think when designing. Not everyone remembers to include user research, user segments, behaviors, personas, and how to use them. Style guides. These will typically contain typography, iconography, image libraries, brand colors, logos, error handling, and accessibility. It should also include spacing for those items.
