Importing assets into a level
- [Instructor] If you have more complex geometry to import, you may want to consider importing into a level. And this can import an object as what's called a blueprint, which will retain a lot of the hierarchy and pivot information from the original geometry. So, let's go into assets, and I'm going to make a sub-folder here. So I'm going to go ahead and right click, "New Folder". Let's call this "FBX". And I'm going to double click on that. I'm going to import in two different ways. So, the first thing I'm going to do is I'm just going to import an asset in the normal way and we'll see what we have. So, I'm going to go ahead and right click, "Import to Current Folder", and then under "ExerciseFiles Assets". I should have "Scooter_Yellow.fbx". And this is our standard import method. So, I want to make sure we create sub-folders here. Let's go ahead and import that. So, I have "Scooter_Yellow", and if we look at the static meshes, you'll see we've got a whole bunch of 'em.
