- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll learn how to purchase an SSL certificate from a certificate authority. These are some of the most popular paid certificate authorities based on the number of websites using their certificates. I've not used any of them, so I don't have a preference or recommendation to give you. They will offer slightly different features at slightly different prices, so it's worth it to shop around. All of them work pretty much the same way though. They'll ask you to choose the domain scope such as a single domain, wild card domain, or multi-domain. You will choose the validation level, such as domain validated, organization validated, or extended validation. You may also be able to choose how long the certificate will remain valid. You might choose one year, two years, or something else.
