Let's talk about phasing. Gone are the days when we build a brand new building out in the middle of a field somewhere. Pretty much most of our projects are going to be some kind of renovation or another. I think Revit handles phasing very well. So let's dig in and find out. So let's dig in and find out how to do it. Under models let's go open. For us we're keeping your exercise files and in chapter 12 we'll grab structural 12-01 click open. In the project browser under structural plans let's go down to level 1. Okay I put a little addition on here for you but we're gonna put it on existing phase and then we're gonna demolish it. One thing I'd like to do is look at our phase settings. Let's go to manage. Let's go to phases. By default there's two phases in here. What I'm about to do is very controversial. So I'm gonna select phase one for existing.
