- Raspberry Pi makes a massive assortment of accessories from cases to power supplies and cameras to expansion modules called HATs. These accessories make things much easier and they give you extra functionality. So as with Raspberry Pi computers, you can buy accessories from authorized resellers. You'll need a different power supply depending on which computer you have. Without the proper power supply your Pi and any peripherals might get a bit sad. For the 3B+ and zero family, you will need the 12.5 watt micro USB power supply. For the PI five or 500, you'll need the 27 watt USB-C version. This power supply supports the USB power delivery protocol and I normally have one of those in my bag even if I don't have a Pi on me, it charges my that book and it charges most of the other things I carry around with me.
