What is rapid ideation?
- All right, quick. My daughter's in a band and I need ideas for a band name. How fast can you give me 10 creative options? Or if I'm looking for ideas around a way to make an extra $100 in the next 30 minutes, what could I do? Generating ideas is one thing, but generating multiple good ideas quickly is a different thing altogether. When time gets tight and you need to generate ideas quickly, some people thrive while others really struggle. My name is Stefan Mumaw, and I've been studying creativity and ideation for years now. And if I've learned anything in that time, it's that generating ideas is not a talent, it's a skill, one that you can learn, and better yet, accelerate.
