- Imagine for a moment that you're about to take your family on a road trip. Your destination? Disney World. What do you do to prepare for this trip? You don't get your family into the car and say, "Let's go." No, you think about what you're going to do there. How long are you going to stay? Which of the parks are you going to visit? What's your budget? Where are you going to eat? What are you going to do on the one day that you decide not to go to the park? If you don't plan, you're likely to end up with an experience or an outcome that's different than the one you intended. The key to achieving your objectives is to know where you're going, what the result is, and how you're going to get there. This is a framework I use for many of my deliverables, whether those are financial models, data analyses, written reports, or live financial presentations. Here, you can see user experience or UX.
