- [Instructor] Emojis or unicharacters are symbols that represent icon shapes or even language characters. We can find examples of emojis online, like these ones on Wikipedia. Unicharacters refer to the symbol, while Unicode refers to the number behind each given symbol. The availability of emojis depends on the system in which we're viewing it. Windows, Android, and Apple iOS display the same symbols with slight visual differences. Let's use these unicharacters to visualize fictional ratings for the fictional Landon Hotel in London as starred reviews. In the Wikipedia page, we saw that there are a lot of Unicode values and Unicode character symbols associated with them. Let's create a new DAX table in Power BI Desktop using the generate series function to produce Unicode values between 9,700-10,000 to see a few examples.
