- [Presenter] WordPress is one of the older no-code tools for making a site. WordPress has been around for probably 25 years now, and it's been used in millions of websites. More websites run on WordPress today than on any other platform. There's two kinds of WordPress. The one we're going to look at is WordPress.com. This is a free or paid hosted version of WordPress, so there's no installation, no need to find hosting, and so forth. WordPress.org is more customizable, it has many more free options to it, but it has a significant learning curve in that you have to download it, you have to find your web host, you have to install it and configure it from the ground up, so today, it's probably better used by developers than it is by people who are not familiar with web development, so more of those people are using WordPress.com.
