- [Instructor] So let's look at changing the background. If your render mode is not set for full render, you're going to have some additional choices to make. One such choice is your background. We've discussed the background in the last video, but let's discuss it a little further, because if we leave the full render mode, your background basically turns to night. Although some people actually prefer this, I personally have a hard time dealing with it. So, this video will focus on changing the background from black to either a plain graduated or horizon background. So to get started, let's open the file called NavisworksEssential.nwd. It's located in your exercise files. Let's go to the Viewpoint tab, and for the mode, let's hit the pull-down and go to Shaded. A lot of times this is preferred.
