How good are you on camera?

- Do you want to know how good you really are speaking on camera? Find out in five minutes. First, take your phone and record yourself doing a 30-second intro. Pretend you're at an industry event and you're introducing yourself to someone, and then watch it back and rate yourself on your tone, your body language, and your energy. Are you swinging or shuffling? Are you able to make eye contact with the camera? Are you able to give the right kind of expressions? Analyze your voice. Are you varying your voice, or are you presenting in a kind of monotone without any energy or any variation at all? Three, rate your energy. Is your energy really high or nervous? Are you not able to really focus on what you're saying? Or is your energy so low that the audience doesn't really care? Your energy is the number one factor that creates a connection between you and the audience. There are a thousand other things that you could analyze about yourself, what you're wearing, your persona, your authenticity, your story, but I'm asking you to focus on these three things to make a really strong start: your voice, your body language, and your energy.
