- [Instructor] Now that we've installed Microsoft SQL Server, we need to prepare it to be used by System Center Virtual Machine Manager. And this involves doing two different things. First, we need to enable TCPIP traffic for SQL Server. Second, we need to make a modification to the Windows Firewall rules. So let's go ahead and get started. And I'm going to begin by enabling TCPIP traffic for SQL Server. So the way that I'm going to do that is by clicking on the start button. Next I'm going to click all apps. Then I'm going to click on Microsoft SQL Server 2022. And then I'm going to click on SQL Server 2022 Configuration Manager. Now that the SQL Server Configuration Manager is open, I'm going to expand SQL Server Network configuration, and then I'm going to select protocols for MS SQL Server. Now it's worth noting MS SQL Server is the name of my SQL Server instance. If you called your SQL Server instance something else, then you'll see a different name here. At any rate, you'll…
