Implement Azure File Sync
- [Instructor] Azure Files is a service that provides the functionality of on-premise shared folders. Key features are, it is serverless, so there are no servers that you need to manage. You simply create a storage account and configure elements of it so that you can facilitate file access from SMB-based clients running Windows or from NFS clients running something like Linux. Provides you with almost unlimited storage because you can just allocate additional storage as you need from Azure. It provides for redundancy. It's built into Azure. Provides for resilient data encryption. As I mentioned, support for SMB, NFS, and even HTTP access. Gives you granular permissions to set access levels on the contents of Azure Files. Supports previous versions and backups. And supports integration with on-premise file servers.
