Power Automate cloud flows: Test and troubleshoot flows
- [Instructor] Testing is a critical step in the development process for your power automate flows and brings to light any potential issues that need troubleshooting. As you build your cloud flow, you can click the test button to run it. A manual test will require you to go and perform the triggering action for the flow to run. For example, if the flow is triggered by an email arriving in your inbox, then go and send yourself an email. If the flow has been tested before, then you'll be able to perform an automatic test. Using this option, you can skip performing the trigger again and reuse one that has already been triggered in the past. This makes the testing process faster and easier as you're building the flow out. As the actions in your flow run, you'll get an indication of which action succeeded, failed or not performed.
