So far if you've been following along, we've created a plan and we've chosen some members to participate in the plan with us, assign them some tasks, so far, though, all of the members of this plan come from within the organization. There may be times when you want to include someone from outside the organization. Think of a consultant or a vendor, for example. In that case, you'll need to add them as a guest. And that's what we're going to explore in this movie. So we can focus on our plan, we can't add members from outside the organization, from inside Planner. If we try to go up to members here and type in an email address of someone from outside, the organization is simply will come up with no results and will not allow it. Instead, remember that Planner does integrate with Outlook, and when we create a plan, a group is also created with the same name and that's where we can add people from outside the organization as group members who become team members here in the plan.
