From the course: Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate (Microsoft 365 Apps) Cert Prep

Who should take this course?

- [Instructor] This course is custom tailored to those interested in becoming a Microsoft Certified Excel Associate whose certification which verifies the recipient has knowledge and competency in using the correct application of the principle features of Excel. While the exam covers basic tasks like formatting worksheets and workbooks, the main focus of the exam is on intermediate and advanced features of the software such as working with named ranges, tables and charts. This course focuses on those intermediate to advanced features. If you need a refresher on basic tasks, be sure to check out one of the other Excel courses in the LinkedIn Library. To get the most out of this course, I recommend learners have at least three to six months prior experience with Excel and a requisite level of comfort creating and formatting basic workbooks. We'll branch off this knowledge to learn more about importing data into Excel, managing named ranges and working with tables and charts. If you fit this criteria and you're ready to prepare for the Microsoft Certified Excel Associate exam, well, let's jump right in.
