- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how to import data from online sources. In this video, we'll learn how to import a PDF file, information from a website, XML, and JSON. Now XML and JSON files are files that people use to easily and quickly transfer data from one person to one place to another. Let me show you what the information looks like in those files. JSON is at the top. You can see we're looking at information on students. It contains their name, their address, pretty easy to read. And then if we look at the XML language, they're pulling the same information on these students, the name, the address, et cetera but there's a lot more coding in the XML. And therefore people are tending to use JSON more and more. You may see this on the exam, so I just wanted you to be familiar with these two file types. Let's jump right into our 02_02 import file.
