Identify knowledge mining workloads
- [Narrator] Knowledge mining. What does that mean? Well, we're looking for hidden insights. Insights that are in our source data, our data lake, our data pool, whatever we call it that we might not have seen if we didn't have this massive scale, this compute scale that Microsoft hosts in their Azure cloud. Some examples of Azure AI services for knowledge mining include Azure AI search, formerly called Azure Cognitive Search. And this gets a lot of press nowadays with LLMs and Retrieval Augmented Generation or RAG. But this predates RAG. Azure AI search will absolutely scour through all of your internal documents, and emails and PDFs and function as a very nice and quick search engine with Semantic Search. Blue Yonder Airlines, for example mines their customer feedback for service improvement opportunities.
