- [Instructor] If you want to model organically, you can use Maya's sculpting tools. Now this uses a brush interface that you will also see in other parts of Maya. So let's go ahead and make a landscape using this basic plane. Now I've created a plane with a pretty dense mesh, and this is better for sculpting because we have more detail to sculpt. Now we can find sculpting in a couple places. We've got the sculpting shelf here, which has a lot of the tools, but the most complete list of tools is under mesh tools, sculpting tools. Now I'm going to tear this menu off so that we can see it. So the first one is the sculpting tool, and you'll notice we have a number of hotkeys for this. Also, CTRL + 1 will bring this up. But I'm going to go ahead and click on the tool settings here, this little box, and that brings up the settings for that tool. Now, when I open up the tool, you'll see that I get this round cursor, and that's the brush. We can change the size of the brush here in tool…
