OpenPBR Surface materials
- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at the OpenPBR surface, which is the default material for MAYA. We're going to go ahead and select this object here, the sphere and I want to assign a material, so I can do that in one of two places. We're going to start off by going to the rendering menu set and then under lighting shading, assign new material and then we can find OpenPBR surface. And as you can see, when I assign that, it brings me into the attribute editor where I can edit that material. Now I can also get to that same place by going into lighting shading assigned favorite material. You can assign an OpenPBR surface there, or I can select the object and right click and you can see I have assigned favorite material OpenPBR surface. So there's a couple of different places where you can find this. Now once we have the material assigned, let's go ahead and turn on the Arnold Renderer so that we can see what's going on here. And I'm going to zoom in a little bit on that sphere. So…
