- I am a total introvert. I find smalltalk and crowded events exhausting, so my preferred way of building professional relationships is to grab coffee with someone or meet at their office. Now, I also go to big networking events, but when I do, I go in with a purpose and I leave when I start feeling emotionally drained. As you start to explore networking environments, you'll figure out which are the most comfortable for you. Let's start by defining different ways to network.
