- If you work on a hybrid team where teammates are scattered across the globe in different time zones, the experience of juggling the few hours that you all share together is not new. We all want to work respectfully and cautiously around one another's boundaries and I have a recommendation that can help you do that. Solving the time zone puzzle isn't just about choosing an overlapping time to schedule meetings. Making assumptions about when someone is open to being contacted and totally unavailable sometimes gets us into trouble and we can easily unknowingly overstep those boundaries. Being more purposeful in how and when we communicate with our teammates will help us respect their work-life balance.
