Qualify a Lead
- [Instructor] Once you've created a lead, it's time to follow up and take the next big step, qualifying the lead and transitioning them into opportunities. In Dynamics 365, qualifying a lead means you're confident in the potential customer, and they're serious about doing business with you. This process converts your lead into an opportunity, the company into an account, and a contact. This is where we start working to close the deal. We've been working with Harrison Curtis, and I recorded a lead for him. I've had some discussions with him recently, and now we need to update the lead. The preview of the lead is nice, but I prefer to use the expanded window to see all of the details. Let's click the fly-out button. Now, I can see all of the details about the lead and where it's at in its process. Across the top, notice that we're at the Qualify stage, and we've been in process for about 26 days.
