- Ideation and design thinking is a way to explore how we might solve problems for our customers. In design thinking, when we ideate, we can explore specific problems that a particular person is having. We get those specifics about a person and their problems by leveraging other aspects of design thinking, like building empathy for our customers and defining the problems they have. That way, our ideas are personalized for that person and situation. This personalization allows us to tailor a solution for a very specific customer and problem. We call these customer-centric solutions, meaning the customer is at the center of the thinking on who the solution is designed for. Generating the best potential solutions is all about creating ones that are tailored for your customers. How do we do that?
