- [Narrator] In addition to blueprints and themes, Confluence also has global and space templates. Templates are pre formatted pages that contain sample data for formatting, or a specific use case. Templates ensure consistency. They guide the user to enter specific information and standardize repeatable processes. Let's take a look at how you use them and create your own. Confluence Server and Data Center have page templates, but Cloud has more, so I'll use Cloud in this example. First navigate to where to add the new content. Then click the create button. The available templates are shown on the right. Use the search feature to filter the options, or scroll through the list to find the best one for your needs. In Cloud, hover over the template for a quick preview. For frequently used templates, click the star icon to make it a favorite. Then click the template to create a page with pre-populated content.
