- [Narrator] When you're surfing the internet, many times you'll be faced with a notification, "Do you want to accept cookies?" Well, in most cases you'll say, "Yes." But what exactly are cookies? Well, cookies are used by many major websites. They're small text files put on an end device to store state information, and make browsing easier by preserving information about your preferences and sign-in information. Cookies help our browsing but it's important to understand the different types of cookies, and allow only the minimal required for effective browsing. Now, let's talk about HTTP.
