- Imagine opening up your email, and seeing yet another invitation that says meeting, oh no, not another meeting, right? What if I told you that how you use your meeting invitation could be a powerful tool? In lean management, we talk a lot about respect for people and eliminating waste, and I can tell you that nowhere is this more visible than how we approach meetings, and it all starts with that tiny, often overlooked piece of real estate called the subject line. Think of your meeting invitation subject line as a pledge, or a commitment to your team's most valuable resources, their time and mental energy.
