A few advanced blending mode tricks
- In this movie, will take a look at a few advanced blend mode tricks. Now, for starters, I'm going to get rid of this blend modes layer, but I want you to see that I've gone ahead and added a little bit of a footnote. That explains exactly what's going on with my Shift+Plus and Shift-Minus keyboard shortcuts. All right. So to get rid of the layer, I'll just click on a little trashcan icon at the bottom of the layers panel and I'll click. Yes. All right. Now let's say for starters that you want to colorize this placed photograph. Well, back in chapter 25 of the advanced course, I showed you how to take a linked image and assign the sepia tone to it. But things work a little differently when you have a clipping mask. And so I'm going to start things off by twirling open this image layer right there, and I'll go ahead and click on that Linked image to select it.
