- Edison Research says that its podcast metric survey shows nearly half, 46%, US weekly podcast listeners say they have purchased a product or service as a result of hearing a podcast. In fact, as podcasts have grown, so have purchases. Edison says, the number of weekly podcasting listeners who have bought something they heard advertised during a show has jumped from about a third, 34%, in 2020 when it first started. Start by actively encouraging your audience to provide feedback on your podcast through various channels such as social media, email, or podcast reviews. Create opportunities for listeners to share their thoughts, opinions, suggestions, and questions, and make it easy for them to reach out to you.
