Change a folder's icon

- [Instructor] Another aspect of folder customization is to change a folder's icon. Press the Windows + E keyboard shortcut to bring up a file explorer window. Press the Ctrl + L key to highlight the address bar. And type a percent sign, then the word user profile, all one word, and percent sign. Press the Enter key. Here is your home folder on the computer storage system, the user profile folder. You may notice that some of these folders have icons that are plain and boring. Other folders sport unique and useful icons, often hinting at the folder's contents, such as music downloads, documents, videos, and so on. This is a trick Windows sets for these folders, but you can kind of play along too. So here's my Work Files folder. Right click it, choose Properties. You can do this with any folder. Click the customize tab. Two options are available for changing the folder's icon image, folder pictures and folder icons.…
