- [Narrator] Task View is a Windows feature that lets you organize your workflow into several different desktops. It's a great productivity booster that you might not use or even be aware of. The secret lurks down on the task bar, this weird icon thing here. If you don't see this button, then right click the task bar to choose Task Bar Settings. Activate the master control by task bar. Click the icon to open task view. Here you see thumbnails representing available desktops and the windows open on each desktop. The first desktop is highlighted here, and these are the windows available to the desktop. Press the Escape key to exit. The keyboard shortcut to access task view is the windows and tab keys, press them together. I've organized my desktops by project.
