Generative design leverages artificial intelligence and increasing computational capacity to automate aspects of the design process, allowing designers to focus on the most creative parts of design while the computer works out the details.     I'm halfway through but I really enjoy this course. It helps me as a complete beginner in Generative Design to grasp the fundamentals as well as the way of how to approach it.

    A lot of discussion on Grasshopper and leveraging. Did not get as much out of the class as expected. More generic overview and history rather than expected, compared to the usual 'foundation' classes.

    I found this course to be a great intro to generative design, especially as someone transitioning to parametric and computational design. It explains the key concepts clearly and briefly demonstrates real-world architectural applications. What I enjoyed most about it was the segment with industry professionals - their insights on how generative design tools helped simplify their workflow and drove innovation, significantly enhanced my learning experience. But honestly, it's fascinating to know that these principles can be applied beyond architecture to fields like interior, product, and industrial design, which makes the potential of generative design feel super tangible. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in exploring or integrating generative design into their work. It's truly a fundamental approach that I think every designer should dive into. Oh, lastly.. even though the course hasn't been updated in a while, I think the content is still very much relevant and applicable.
