- [Instructor] Up until now, you've seen a lot of differences between generative AI systems and more traditional predictive AI systems. Then you saw how you could use unsupervised machine learning to develop a newer self-supervised foundation model for generative AI systems. These foundation models could be used for many different things. There are large language models for text, and diffusion models, generative adversarial networks and autoencoders that you could use for images. But up until this point, you've mostly seen how other companies develop these systems. You've seen how OpenAI uses large language models and a form of pre-training to create ChatGPT. Then you've also seen how they use diffusion models to create DALL-E 2 for image generation.
